SMP’s Valve-Out Tool is a bolt-hole specific tool. With the Valve-Out Tool you can eliminate the need for come-alongs, track-hoes, wire rope, chains, hammers and wedges.

 

When you turn the jack-bolt, the plates cantilever back, binding the bolt-hole pins in the bolt-holes, pulling the outside flanges back, allowing you to remove the valve safely.

 

In addition, SMP’s Valve-Out Tool allows for safe and easy removal of control valves, by-pass valves, expansion joints, spools, rupture disks, regulators, orifice plates, and meters.

 

Valve-Out tools come in kits which include flange spreading plates to service virtually all flange sizes, plus interchangeable bolt-hole pins, spacer parts 1-3/4" caps (2), 1-3/4" cups (2), 2" spacers (4), 4" spacers (2). The spacer parts total 11.5" per side of flange.

 

The kits include two Pelican Hard Shell Cases with form fitting foam.
