The Pop-It tool is used for both flange spreading and equipment lifting.  Simply put, it's the most versatile tool on the market for these applications. 

 

The Pop-It takes the place of a hammer and wedge and can spread or lift five tons up to 5.25 inches with 120 pounds of force.  It's lightweight, compact, and portable and hold settings without any drift.  It can be used in a multitude of industry applications such as gasket replacement, blinding, drive shimming, and valve service.

 

The Pop-It Tool also works well when lifting equipment for alignment work, removing gears or impellers from shafts. Anytime wedges or pry bars can be replaced, the Pop-It Tool can be used.

 

The Pop-It Tool is also sold in a kit, including (2) 95-525 Pop-It Tools, (2) SMP Chock-O-Lot Safety Chocks, and a hardened carrying case with custom foam inserts.
